Rebels With A Cause

All I've ever heard from the older generations is that my generation "will never surpass what the generations have done before you." Though, that's not true is it? I'm a firm believer in politics, science, and God. I have faith in my generation that we will rise and fight for what we believe is right, like the generations before us. That we will be our own makers in the upcoming rebellion to ensure all are made equal.

One belief that plays in my mind when  others bring up standing behind a cause is that we all ARE standing behind one, just that each individual is waiting for someone else to get the ball rolling so you can join in. But why must we wait for someone else to start the revolution when all the power rest inside each and every one of us? Why must you wait for someone else when you can BE that someone who starts the path to making a difference?

I am the change that I want to see in the world because I am a key ingredient to the recipe of making a difference.

So, next time you think "I want to help make a difference, but I don't see anyone else doing a thing about it", how about YOU do something about it. Whether it's via YouTube video, passing out flyers, or spreading the word on Facebook, just do something. Do something that will make your children and grandchildren proud, so when you tell them about how you stood up when nobody else would, they will look at you in amazement. So they look at you like the rebel and hero that you are.

So tell me, what's the word?

Stay Fabulous.
